Couchsurfing.org's latest video (view previous videos here) focuses on a rarer breed of couchsurfers: The couchsurfing families. I drowned in the abyss of mushiness after listening to the sentiments of our spiritual comrades. Today, I shall let them do the talking for me.
Watch to find out how Couchsurfing paved the way for us to see the world in a whole different prism, together as families. Also, uhm, spot our daughter throwing a tantrum on cam.

Congrats Gay! You are indeed an inspiration for travelers, whether couchsurfers or otherwise ;) I don't think I'm brave enough yet to try couchsurfing (mainly for safety issues, especially as a female solo traveler) but this makes me want to consider putting it on my must-do list. ;0

Ms Gay you have accomplished a lot and now you're a star! You have been an inspiration to many and I am one of them, I'm a big fan of you, I wish you knew that, haha., also your hubby and the cute little Luna who is now growing fast! It had always amazed me to see families on the go ever since, but most of them are foreigners. That's why it's so striking to know a Filipino one, not just that, babae pa talaga. Wow! Keep in inspiring travelers like me! :)

I noticed that most family who do this are small one. I mean just the father the mother and the son or daughter...I guess if bigger family would find it difficult to do this...

What a great adventure you are undertaking. Watched the video clip thrice because it warmed my heart.
I can imagine my family doing this but I have to say I have lots of respect for you and your family, who are actually doing it.
My hubby's bestfriend who lives in Almere, Netherlands, have hosted a lot of couchsurfers. I was curious and I think signed up for it just to get to know it better but I must've been distracted because I did not get into it much deeper.
This video is, in my opinion, a great way to communicate positively the many benefits of couchsurfing for families!
